Queue

The Queue is your listen-later list. Paste in text (or pull it from your clipboard), save it, and play the whole list straight through whenever you want. It's great for articles, notes, or anything you'd rather hear than read right now.

Open the Queue

Click Queue in the sidebar.

Add to the queue

You can add items in a couple of ways:

Paste text

  1. Click Add (or the add control) on the Queue screen.
  2. Paste or type the text you want to save.
  3. Save it. The item is added to the bottom of your queue.

From the clipboard

  1. Copy some text anywhere with Ctrl+C.
  2. In the Queue's add dialog, pull it in from the clipboard.
  3. Save it to the queue.

Each saved item stays in your queue until you play through or remove it. The queue persists across restarts, so items you saved yesterday are still there today.

Play through the queue

  • Press play on the queue to start playing items one after another, top to bottom.
  • Each item is read in your selected voice, with your pronunciations applied.
  • The now-playing player shows the current item and lets you control playback.

You can also start from a specific item to play from there onward.

Reorder items

Drag items up or down to change the order they'll play in. The new order is saved.

Shuffle

Use shuffle to play the queue in a random order instead of top-to-bottom. Handy when you have a backlog and don't care about sequence.

Clear the queue

  • Remove a single item — delete just that entry.
  • Clear all — empty the entire queue at once.

Clearing can't be undone, so make sure you're done with the items first.
